The Salvation Army’s Ray and Joan Kroc Corp Community Center (RJKCCC) Hawaii, provides the community with a multitude of life enriching opportunities. The vision and dream to provide a place for the community and beyond to participate in activities that would enrich the mind, body and soul in the name of Christ, was brought to fruition when the center opened the beginning of 2012.

The Kroc Center Hawaii is a 200,000 sq. ft. center located on 15 acres in Kapolei, Oahu. This expansive center includes an array of components. The Aquatic Center has giant water slides, a current channel, splash pad and play features, plus a 25 meter competition pool. Indoor Kroc features include the 500 seat worship and performing arts center, an NCAA regulation gymnasium, a 40-bed dormitory for traveling teams or overnight conferences, the education and resource center with conference and banquet rooms for 500 guests, and a wellness and fitness center with state-of-the-art workout equipment. Within the parameters of the Kroc Center is an Early Childhood Education Center for 120 preschool students, a teen room, art room, and numerous classroom spaces. The Kroc Center also includes a beautiful park like setting with outdoor seating in a tranquil environment.

Ballard*King & Associates completed an extensive market analysis study and provided programming and design review services. In addition, B*K developed a comprehensive operations pro-forma for this unique facility and assisted with operations planning prior to the centers opening.
