The project included a demographic assessment, competitive facility inventory, stakeholder meeting and staff input. B*K was tasked with estimating the need to replace aging facilities along with identify gaps in facilities and programs. The program for the 209, 000 SF SSPRD includes three regulation sized ice rinks, 2 gymnasium spaces, indoor track, large indoor fieldhouse with two turf fields, concession and support spaces.
Lastly, Ballard*King developed a feasibility study that examined the operation cost, staffing model and identified various revenue sources for the facility.
