The City of Bridgeport is a small community that continues to grow with a significant number of young families with children. On the heals of the success of their outdoor sports complex the City wanted to investigate the development of an indoor sports complex.

The concept of the sports complex that the team was to verify included a significant indoor gymnasium, indoor turf and indoor aquatic center. Some ancillary spaces would be an indoor walking/jogging track, meeting rooms and a small fitness offering.

B*K’s role in the study included; market assessment, evaluation of other providers (aquatics & turf), engagement with the steering committee, partnership assessment, facility component recommendations/descriptions and the creation of an operational plan.
