The Spearfish Rec & Aquatic Center is a great place for the whole community to enjoy a wide array of recreational pursuits. This facility includes both an indoor recreation center and an outdoor aquatics pool area.
The recreation center is composed of a party room, multi-purpose rooms, batting cages, the Kid Zone that serves as a multifunctional area for both hourly child care as well as a rental space for special occasion events, a gymnasium with two full basketball courts, two walking tracks, training room, cardio room, group fitness/dance room, locker rooms, and a large banquet room that can accommodate up to 200 people.
The outdoor aquatic facility includes a lazy river, lap pool, 3 water slides, zero entry (kiddy pool) & splash pad, huge dump bucket, climbing wall, adventure walk, a wheelchair-accessible lap pool, and snack bar.
