The Sylvester Powell, Jr. Community Center is an 80, 000 SF family recreational facility. Its purpose is to serve the health and fitness needs of the community offering something for people of all ages. The community center amenities include an aerobics room, arts & crafts room, two gymnasiums, an indoor aquatic center with jacuzzi, sauna, and steam room, a weight room, cardio/fitness room, racquetball courts, an indoor walking/jogging track, meeting rooms, birthday party room, multi-purpose rooms and a conference center.
B*K completed a feasibility study for the facility and also provided extensive operational planning services for the center. This center was featured in the Athletic Business Magazine.
