Built to meet numerous recreational needs of the community, in a stunningly attractive and yet functional facility, with a myriad of activities, the Wheat Ridge Recreation Center is a great source of community pride. The amenities in the 70, 000 SF center include: a leisure pool with water slide, fountains and lazy river, a 25-yard 8-lane lap pool, steam room, whirlpool, sauna, game room, fitness areas (weights, jogging/walking track, aerobics/dance room) climbing wall, gymnasium, racquetball courts, multi-purpose rooms, childcare, men, women & family locker rooms, as well as a computer room.
