The City of Moab operates the Moab Recreation and Aquatic Center (MRAC). The MRAC includes a spacious lobby, child care area, fitness studio, weight/cardio room, locker rooms, family changing rooms, indoor 25Y lap pool with zero depth entry and slide, outdoor lap pool with current channel, and outdoor leisure pool.
The City had growing concerns about the cost to operate the facility along with revenue generation. As a result, B*K assessed the aquatic portion of the operation. The assessment focused on the facility, physical plant, staffing, and documentation. B*K provided recommendations in each of the areas and identified opportunities for cost savings and additional revenue generation.
