The Aberdeen Aquatic Center was the response to the communities’ desire for an outdoor aquatic facility. With both leisure and competitive components, the aquatic center has something for everyone. The 50-meter, 8-lane lap pool includes a 1-meter diving board, a 3-meter diving board, two drop slides, water basketball, and a water polo area. The leisure pool is a 9, 000 SF area with zero-depth entry, a lazy river, a tube slide, a flume slide as well as other water play features. Additionally, there is a large deck space with areas for sun and shade, a concession stand, and a sand playground. Whether relaxing or competing, this aquatic facility is an exciting place for community involvement.

B*K completed a feasibility study for this aquatic facility which included: an overview, a market analysis, public meetings, programming, and an operations analysis.
