Located in the Vail Valley at the base of Beaver Creek Ski Resort and in the “Heart of the Valley, ” the Avon Recreation Center is part of a 48-acre park complex. The recreation center is a total of 40, 000 square feet and includes a 15, 000 square foot leisure pool with a lagoon, zero-depth entry, lazy river, slide and lap pool. Additional amenities include a sauna, steam rooms, cardiovascular/fitness space, weight & strength-conditioning room, aerobic/dance studio, locker rooms, concession area, offices and daycare facility.
B*K provided a feasibility study including market analysis, programming, and operations pro-forma for this recreation center.
