Ballard*King & Associates, teamed with SFS Architecture, BRS Architecture, Water Technology, and ETC Institute to complete a comprehensive feasibility study for the development of a community recreation center.
The City of Blue Springs is located to the east of Kansas City, but is considered part of the Greater Kansas City Metropolitan Area. The impetus of the feasibility was in reaction to the general public wanting access to more indoor space within the community.
B*K’s scope of services for this project included; reviewing existing data, participating in a comprehensive community input process, demographic analysis, participation rates from the NSGA/NEA, identification of alternative service providers, program recommendations, and a full operational analysis for the proposed facility.
