The City of Clearfield retained the services of B*K to conduct a feasibility study for an aquatic center. The result of the study culminated in the building of the Clearfield Aquatic Center, a joint project with the Davis School District and the City.
The Center includes 3 indoor Myrtha swimming pools and 1 outdoor Myrtha swimming pool. The indoor aquatic components include a lap pool, leisure pool, and waterslide. Additionally, the Center has an aerobics space, weight room and an exercise area. The outdoor pool includes a splash pad, wading pool and patio. The aquatic center adjoins the new junior high school, a city park and athletic fields for baseball, soccer, and softball, as well as a new skate park. The Center was awarded, “Winner Best of State 2006”.
