The Community & Recreation Center at Boyoce Mayview Park is a 90,000 sq. ft. facility on 475 acres integrated with Boyce Mayview Park. The Community & Recreation Center (C&RC) has a plethora of features to fill the desires of people of all ages and phases of life. On the first floor you will find a large community gathering area, two poolside party rooms, a community room, two gymnasiums, two group exercise studios, senior/teen lounge, childcare, plus locker rooms for men, women & families. The Indoor Aquatics Center includes a zero depth entry pool, therapeutic resistance current channel, 4 lane lap pool, interactive water structure with slides, as well as tot area and handicap lift. On the second floor there is a fitness area and walk/jog track overlooking the floor below. The center includes many “Green” features and recycled materials.
The Outdoor Aquatics area has 6,000 sq. ft. of water with zero depth entry, 3 lane leisure pool, lily pads, handicap lift, and numerous interactive water features. The 60,000 gallon water bucket makes a splash every time it spills over onto the happy crowd below. Surrounding the pool are lounge chairs, lawn space for picnicking, covered pavilions, vending machines and men’s, women’s and family changing rooms.
B*K completed a feasibility study for the Township of Upper St. Clair. B*K’s scope of work included the following: market analysis, citizen input, programming, and operations pro-forma.
