  • Partner: CANNON DESIGN
  • Facility Type: Recreation Center Feasibility Studies
  • Client Category: Municipal & Government

The City of Maryland Heights currently operates a 40, 000 square foot community centre that is a renovated church. The original intention of the City was to occupy the space for approximately 10 years and then move to a new facility, the study that B*K was involved with places the building in year 14 and facing significant renovation costs.

B*K’s scope of services for the City of Maryland Heights included; significant public input via stakeholder meetings and public forums, comprehensive market analysis and demographic profile, facility program recommendations and operations analysis of the proposed program.

While B*K’s contract is with the City, Cannon Design has a concurrent contract with the City and they will be involved in site analysis and schematic design of the renovated or new facility.
