The proposed center, which was dedicated on December 6, 2010, was funded in part by the Donald W. Reynolds Foundation, thus the facility was named the Reynolds Wellness Center.
The Foundation invited five Oklahoma communities to apply for a Community Centers Initiative Planning Grant. The City of Seminole was invited to apply and was awarded funding for a 39,000 square foot facility. The facility includes: group exercise spaces, conference rooms, a gymnasium, batting cages, a climbing wall, multi-purpose rooms, and a kitchen.
