The City of Rock Island experienced economic changes over the course of 10 years. As a result of those changes, the City began to re-evaluate how they do business along with services that they offered. One of those services being Parks & Recreation.
B*K was hired to assess how the parks and recreation department operates and identify opportunities for greater efficiency and opportunity. As a part of the study, B*K completed a series of stakeholder meetings, a market assessment of Rock Island and the Quad Cities, a budgetary review and subsequently a business plan for the entire parks and recreation department.
