The City of Sidney, NE had an aging outdoor pool in their community and they tasked the overall project team with investigating the enhancement and continued operation of that facility. An outcome of this study was that the project team was asked to review not only the current outdoor pool, but the possibility of abandoning the seasonal outdoor pool operation and developing an indoor aquatic center within the community.
B*K’s scope of services included; the review of existing information, involvement with the public input process, demographic analysis, participation statistics from the NSGA, identification of alternative service providers, and a comprehensive operations analysis for both indoor and outdoor aquatics.
