The University of Wisconsin Platteville looked to expand their NCAA sports offerings with the addition of a competitive swim and dive team. In the investigation process, the concept of a competitively geared indoor aquatic center became a topic of discussion.
B*K provided a standard market analysis to look at the University community and surrounding community and determine their propensity to participate in and help support an aquatic center and the programs it would offer. Additionally, B*K was tasked with developing a list of competitive aquatic events and the various facility components that would be required to host said events. This list, or matrix was used to assist in the decision making process with respect to what should be included in the facility. Finally, B*K assembled a detailed operational plan for the proposed facility components.
