Wellness Matagorda County and the City of Bay City hired Water Technology Inc. and Ballard*King to complete an aquatic feasibility study. Wellness Matagorda County had completed a previous study concerning the project. However, they felt the project should be re-visited and updated.
WTI worked through design, while B*K completed a demographic analysis and operational plan. There was also a public input component where B*K and WTI also met with elected officials, swim coaches, influential community members, and swim team participants.
